While we cannot avoid stress, we can choose how we react to stress! The Baby and parent mindfulness classes are designed to teach you relaxing techniques, coping mechanisms, and mindfulness to help you deal with day to day stressful situation. More and more evidence in the field of psychology and psychiatry demonstrate the benefits of mindfulness in relieving stress, anxiety, improving overall health (benefits on the cardiovascular system), better attention span, boost memory, decrease emotional reactivity, increase cognitive flexibility, improve relationships around us (including life partner, family, children, work colleagues) as well as reducing the fight, flight, freeze mode, and a better immune response! Mindfulness for baby and parent course:
The course takes place weekly, in the comfort of your home, and the session lasts one hour. The first part of the session will focus on breathing and mindfulness meditation. The second part will be about teaching coping strategies to deal with stress, anxiety, build your confidence in being a parent, and connect with your baby on a deeper level.
Cost: £100 for 6 sessions.
